This is what I wish my library or office looked like! |
Last week, a friend told me about a summer reading program our library has.
For adults.
Instantly, I signed up. I’d already read several books this summer — including Becky Wade’s Undeniably Yours, Rachel Hauck’s Once Upon a Prince, Susan May Warren’s Take a Chance on Me, and Beth Vogt’s Catch a Falling Star — so I entered the information and poof! I qualified for prizes.
Prizes. For reading. Yeah, I know. Crazy awesome, right?
The prizes included a buy one get one coupon at Chipotle and a free book. I snatched up Stephen King’s On Writing, which I’ve been wanting to read!
Your Turn: Does your library do a summer reading program for adults?

How fun is this? An adult library reading program — with prizes?!
I am checking this out!!
I know!! I was excited. Hopefully they have something like that in your area.
I want to get Stephen King's On Writing book, too! That's the next one on my writing craft list.
I don't know if they have a reading program for adults at our library. They do for kids and my daughters have already cashed in on some of the prizes. 🙂 I should see if they have one for me, too.
The cool thing is I was going to buy On Writing, but am pinching pennies before ACFW. 🙂 God's cool.
Wow, Go Lindsay! How fun for you! I want to read that book too. I hope you love it. I had never heard of a reading program for adults. With all I've read this summer, I think I'll check it out too. 🙂 Happy Friday!
I don't know when I'll get to the book yet, simply because I've got so many on my shelf right now. But yeah, I'm hoping to enjoy it!
I joined ours too, Lindsay, and I won a lunchbox! Yay!! So much fun! Enjoy your Chipotle date! 🙂
