If I go days and days without relaxation, I’ll go crazy. (So yeah, a lot of times, I go crazy.)
What’s the most relaxing thing you can think of?
Maybe a little of this?
Or this?
Or maybe this?
Or perhaps this?
I love to read and I love to watch movies. But if I want to truly relax, it means clearing my mind. So if I had to choose ONE thing to do in order to let the tension out of my shoulders and take in the beauty around me — to really reflect — I’d have to say nothing does that better for me than listening to the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack while I sit outside (when it’s cool) or take a bubble bath.
What about you? How do you relax? When can you make time for this in the next week (even if for a short amount of time)?

I have a lot of relaxation options in my bag of tricks … it just depends on time and money. Going for a walk with my husband is probably at the top of my "Aaaah, that's better!" list. But a pedicure — now that's a no-husband's allowed option.
Ooo, yes, on all accounts. There's something so great about walking with my man. We just talk and there's no rush to be anywhere else or do anything else.
Definitely a book or an old movie and a bubble bath. Probably not all three at the same time, though. And a can of Diet Coke with Lime. Or the occasional margarita. 🙂
Crazy thing is, I'm totally going to have some downtime this weekend to relax. CRAZY!
I'm so glad you get to relax this weekend. You've definitely earned it, friend!
I love P and P, Lindsay. For me, when I need to escape my reality for a little while, I love to get lost in a story, either a book or a movie. I love just cuddling with my honey and talking, or just sitting together. Sometimes, I just need a nap. 🙂
Naps are always a good thing. 🙂
